Affiliate Disclosure

The short version

Some of the links on OwlyFinds are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the retailer may pay us a small commission. You pay exactly the same price either way.

Commission never changes what we show you. Results are sorted by price and stock, and nothing else.

Who we have affiliate relationships with

We use affiliate tracking on eBay UK, through the eBay Partner Network.

Links to Currys, John Lewis, Argos, Back Market, musicMagpie and AO are plain links straight to the shop. We earn nothing when you use them.

Links to Amazon are plain links straight to Amazon. We earn nothing when you use them. We list Amazon because its prices belong in the comparison, which is the whole point of the site.

Where the product photos come from

The photos on our iPhone, iPad, AirPods, Galaxy, Pixel and PlayStation pages are the makers' own press photos, from the Apple, Samsung, Google and Sony newsrooms. Google's are used with the credit "Source: Google". Other product pages show the photo from the shop listing the product.

How this affects what you see

It does not. Every offer is ranked by price, with in-stock offers first, whether or not we earn anything from it. We do not accept payment for placement, we do not hide a cheaper shop because it pays us nothing, and we do not mark up any price.

If a retailer we earn nothing from is cheapest, that is the one shown at the top.

How the prices are collected

We read prices from the retailers' own public pages and product APIs, then match them to the product you asked about. Prices change often, and ours can be a few hours behind. Always check the final price on the retailer's own site before you buy.

Advertising

We do not run display advertising, and we do not sell your personal data. Affiliate commission is how the site pays for itself.

We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count page views. What we store, and for how long, is set out in our Privacy Policy.
