Galaxy S25 prices in the UK: what each model costs now

How much a Samsung Galaxy S25 costs in the UK: Samsung's price for the S25, S25 Edge, S25 FE and S25 Ultra, what Currys, Argos, Amazon and John Lewis charge, and refurbished prices.

Samsung's Galaxy S25 family has five phones: the S25, the S25+, the thin S25 Edge, the cheaper S25 FE and the S25 Ultra. A year on, and with the S26 in the shops, Samsung has stopped selling some of them and the shops price the rest very differently. Below is what each cost on 07/10/2026 at Samsung and at the shops we compare, new and refurbished, then whether the price has fallen and which one to buy.

How much does a Galaxy S25 cost in the UK?

On its UK store on 07/10/2026, Samsung sold the Galaxy S25 from £799 for 128GB (in one colour) and £889 for 256GB, the S25 Edge at £1,099 for 256GB and the S25 Ultra at £1,249 for 256GB (in one colour); it showed no price for the S25+ and sold the S25 FE only as a 512GB, in one colour, at £919. The cheapest new S25 on our pages that day was a 128GB at £499 on eBay, from a UK business seller with 60 days' returns.

Read on samsung.com/uk and on each shop's own pages on 07/10/2026. Amazon was the seller of its S25+ and S25 Ultra. The S25 Edge at £549.99 is a new UK model (SM-S937B) from a business seller with 60 days' returns. Currys had no S25 Edge, S25+ or S25 Ultra listed, and Argos no S25+ or S25 Ultra.

Read at source on 07/10/2026. The Amazon Renewed phones came from marketplace sellers; the eBay S25 Edge from a business seller with 30 days' returns. Back Market and musicMagpie showed security checks that day, so their prices are not in this table.

Is the Galaxy S25 cheaper anywhere than at Samsung?

At the big shops, only a little. On 07/10/2026 Argos had the 256GB S25 at £859, £30 under Samsung and Currys, and every other S25 it sold at Samsung's price. Currys matched Samsung on the S25 and listed no S25 Edge, S25+ or S25 Ultra. John Lewis charged Samsung's £1,249 for the 256GB S25 Ultra.

The cheaper new phones were from marketplace sellers. On Amazon that day, a 256GB S25 (UK version) was £638.09, a 128GB S25 £599 and a 256GB S25 FE £598.98, all from marketplace sellers rather than Amazon itself. On eBay, a sealed 128GB S25 was £499 from a UK business seller, and a new S25 Edge 512GB £549.99 from another, both with 60 days' returns: £300 and £649.01 under Argos.

Some rows in this box need a word. Its new eBay price, £723.53 on 07/10/2026, is a US-model S25 Ultra (SM-S938U1) sent from Shenzhen, from a seller who also calls it "Excellent" in the title, so read the listing before you treat it as a new UK phone. And Amazon's £899 is a deal for Prime members only; without Prime, Amazon's page offered the same phone at £1,013.76 from a marketplace seller that day. Back Market and musicMagpie showed us security checks that day, so their rows in the box are our own last reads, not prices we saw on their pages.

Has the Galaxy S25 price dropped since the S26?

Samsung's store shows no earlier prices, so we cannot say whether it has cut them. What we can show is that the S26 is now the better deal at some shops:

  • Samsung has thinned the range. On 07/10/2026 it charged £889 for a 256GB S25 and £1,249 for a 256GB S25 Ultra, showed no price for the S25+, and sold the S25 Ultra in one size and colour and the S25 FE in one.
  • The S26 costs the same or less at Currys. On 07/10/2026 Currys had the 256GB S26 at £879, £10 under its 256GB S25, and the 256GB S26 Ultra at £1,129, £120 under Samsung's price for a 256GB S25 Ultra. Samsung's own prices for the S26 were £959 (256GB) and £1,129 (512GB), and for the S26 Ultra £1,359 (256GB) and £1,529 (512GB).
  • Amazon's S25 Ultra 512GB fell, for Prime members. On our page it read £1,199.99 on 23/09/2026 and 28/09/2026 and first read £899 on 02/10/2026; on 07/10/2026 the £899 was a deal for Prime members only.

Here is the cheapest price we have seen each day for the S25 Ultra 512GB, new and refurbished together:

Since we started tracking on 09/09/2026, the low point on this chart has been a refurbished phone almost every day, between £599 (29/09/2026 and 30/09/2026) and £678.99 (09/09/2026 to 15/09/2026). We have no figures that say where the price goes next.

Is a refurbished Galaxy S25 worth it?

On the Ultra and the Edge, clearly; on the S25 itself, barely:

  • S25 Ultra 512GB. £634 from Amazon Renewed, graded Good, or £657.99 on eBay, graded Good, from a business seller with 30 days' returns (you pay the return postage). That is £715 under John Lewis's £1,349, though Amazon's Prime price of £899 narrows the gap.
  • S25 Edge 512GB. £459.99 on eBay, graded Excellent, from a business seller with 30 days' returns, £739.01 under Argos. A new one on eBay was only £90 more that day, at £549.99.
  • S25 FE 256GB. £395 from Amazon Renewed, graded Excellent, or £399.49 on eBay, graded Very Good, from a business seller with 60 days' returns: about £300 under Currys and Argos.
  • S25 128GB. £469 from Amazon Renewed, graded Good, only £30 under the new sealed one on eBay at £499.

Grades describe marks on the phone, not how well it works, and the battery is the part to ask about: here is what the grades mean, and what changes when you buy second hand.

Which Galaxy S25 should you buy?

  • S25 FE, £699 at Currys and Argos. The cheapest way into the S25 family new from a big shop, with a 6.7-inch screen. Refurbished from about £395, it is the best value of the five.
  • S25, from £799. The small phone of the family, 6.2 inches. At £859 for 256GB at Argos it is fair; at £889 it costs more than the newer S26 at Currys.
  • S25 Edge. Thin and light, with a 200MP main camera. At £1,099 new from Samsung it is hard to justify; at £549.99 new or £459.99 refurbished on eBay it is the bargain of the family, if you buy from a seller with returns.
  • S25 Ultra. The one with the S Pen and the 5x zoom. At £1,249 for 256GB it costs more than the 256GB S26 Ultra at Currys (£1,129), so buy the S25 Ultra only refurbished, or new at well under the S26 Ultra's price.
  • S25+, £999 at Amazon. Samsung no longer sells it, and £999 is more than the newer S26 at Currys, so we would not buy one new at that price.

What to do

  1. Check the S26 before you buy an S25 new: on 07/10/2026 the 256GB S26 at Currys cost £10 less than the 256GB S25 there.
  2. Check Argos for the 256GB S25: £859 against £889 at Samsung and Currys that day.
  3. Read every marketplace listing's model number and returns. A UK S25 is SM-S931B; an S931U1 or S938U1 is a US model.
  4. For the Ultra, the Edge and the FE, compare a refurbished phone from a seller with at least 30 days' returns before buying new.
  5. If the price is not right yet, set a price alert on the product page and we will email you when it drops.
