Guides for this product
All guides →PS5 refurbished: is it worth it, and where to buy one in the UK?
Not today. On 18/10/2026 Sony's Certified Refurbished consoles (£479.99 with a disc drive, £429.99 without, about £90 under new) were all out of stock, the cheapest refurbished Slim on eBay cost £598.89 against £569 new at Currys, and the only clear saving was a 2020 PS5 graded Good at £439.99 on eBay.
PS5 prices in the UK: what each console costs now
Sony's prices since 02/04/2026 are £569.99 for the PS5 with a disc drive, £519.99 for the Digital Edition and £789.99 for the PS5 Pro, and on 05/10/2026 the big shops charged the same or 99p less. The real savings that day were Sony's own: its EA SPORTS FC 26 bundles at £90 under the console alone, and its Certified Refurbished Slims from £429.99.
Is the PS5 Pro in stock in the UK, and what does it cost today?
At Argos only: on 14/10/2026 Argos had it at £789.99, Sony's own price since 02/04/2026. Currys (£789) and John Lewis (£789.99) were out of stock online, Sony's store showed it not available, and Amazon sold none itself, with marketplace sellers from £1,098. The lottery in the news is for Japan only.
