Guides on these two
All guides →Cheapest PS5 in the UK today: Digital, Slim and Pro
On 25/10/2026 the cheapest new PS5 Digital was £475.90 on eBay from a private seller, against £519.99 at Argos; the disc Slim £547.30 on eBay against £569 at Currys; and the PS5 Pro £789.99 at Argos, the only shop we compare with it in stock. Refurbished was dearer than new on the Digital that day.
Second hand PS5: what it costs in the UK, and what to check
On 20/10/2026 a used PS5 Slim on eBay cost £439.99 to £495.95 for the disc model and £390 to £414.70 for the Digital Edition, about £115 to £130 under new. A used PS5 Pro saved only about £30. Refurbished saved nothing that day: every refurbished console in stock cost about the same as new or more.
Does Argos price match? And does Amazon?
No. Argos says it does not price match, online or in store, and Amazon says it does not offer price matching compensation (both read on 19/10/2026). Currys and John Lewis do match, with conditions, so a lower Argos or Amazon price is one you can take to them.
